Whizz HR is hiring an Electrical Engineer with construction and site experience for a construction and MEP team in Ajman.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical installation work across construction sites.
  • Install, connect, test, and commission 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and other trades.
  • Conduct site inspections and verify work against approved drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Install and service electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and project requirements.
  • Support project teams in completing electrical work within scheduled timelines.
  • Maintain documentation of installation, testing, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Have 2–6 years of hands-on electrical installation experience, preferably in construction or MEP.
  • Hold a diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade.
  • Have strong experience with 3-phase electrical equipment and systems.
  • Construction site experience is described inconsistently as mandatory and preferred.
  • Be able to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
  • Have hands-on experience in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Know electrical safety practices and site procedures.
  • Have strong communication and coordination skills.
