About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, sections, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other drafting software
- Develop coordinated MEP drawings in accordance with architectural, structural, and engineering requirements
- Generate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV system drawings
- Prepare as built drawings upon project completion
- Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, and Project Teams to resolve design conflicts
- Review consultant drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings
- Maintain drawing registers and revision control records
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, and local authority regulations
- Prepare quantity take offs and material schedules from approved drawings when required
- Verify dimensions, calculations, and design details before issuing drawings
- Assist site teams by providing technical drawing support and revisions
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM software preferred
- 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in construction, contracting, or engineering consultancy
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and high rise building projects preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and ELV systems
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and authority requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Job Overview
- The MEP Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings for construction projects.
- The role involves creating shop drawings, coordination drawings, as built drawings, and technical documentation.
Drafting & Design
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, sections, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other drafting software.
- Develop coordinated MEP drawings in accordance with architectural, structural, and engineering requirements.

- Assist site teams by providing technical drawing support and revisions.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and installation details.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for drawing modifications and approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM software preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in construction, contracting, or engineering consultancy.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and high rise building projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
