Overview

  • We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of our human resources operations across our HVAC organization.
  • You'll lead recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning for both our office and field teams.
  • This is a hands on role where you'll directly impact our company culture, operational efficiency, and ability to attract and retain skilled technicians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end recruitment and hiring processes for both technical field positions and office roles, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Manage employee relations by handling performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including wage and hour regulations, safety requirements, and documentation standards specific to field based operations
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to address staffing needs, turnover reduction, and skill development across technician and support teams
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, and competitive market analysis for HVAC industry positions
  • Build and maintain positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and retention strategies tailored to field and office staff

Requirements

  • 7+ years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in technical, field based, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment for skilled trades, technical positions, or field based roles
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and ability to manage HR documentation and audits
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with frontline employees, management, and executives
  • Nice to have: Experience in the HVAC, construction, or mechanical services industry
  • Nice to have: Certification (PHR, SHRM CP, or equivalent) or active progress toward certification
