Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human resource functions for our HVAC organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning within technical, field based, or industrial environments.
  • This role will support both office and operational staff, ensuring a productive, compliant, and high performance workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage end to end recruitment for HVAC technicians, engineers, sales staff, supervisors, and administrative roles.
  • Oversee onboarding, orientation, and probation management for new hires.
  • Support employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and workforce scheduling coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
  • Support performance management, appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Coordinate training needs for technical, safety, and soft skills development.
  • Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data accurately.
  • Work closely with department heads to support staffing and organizational needs.
  • Assist in compensation, benefits administration, and policy communication.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in HVAC, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor law, and employee relations.
  • Experience in handling blue collar, technical, and office based workforce.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi location, or field service environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with recruitment for skilled technical positions.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and HR software.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and operational workforce practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM CP, PHR, or equivalent is a plus.
