Role Purpose
Manage and oversee mechanical and electrical construction activities on-site, including planning, coordination, execution, and delivery.
Ensure MEP works are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and manage engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors across all project phases.
- Review MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and method statements for constructability and accuracy.
- Plan and schedule MEP activities with civil and architectural disciplines.
- Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timely completion of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, NEC, IEC, and SMACNA.
- Manage procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Manage risks, delays, corrective actions, progress, quality, and cost control.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management and provide technical updates.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and HSE standards across MEP site activities.
