Role Purpose
Lead electrical site engineering activities across assigned Innovo MEP project areas.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
Electrical Site Leadership
- Lead site verification of electrical installations against approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate cable routing, containment, and panel installation sequencing with other MEP trades.
Inspection Coordination
- Lead inspection request preparation and coordinate with DEWA, SEWA, and ADDC inspectors.
- Track authority inspection comments and ensure timely close-out before energization.
Mentoring and Training
- Mentor Site Engineers (Electrical) on technical matters.
- Train junior engineers on cable testing, megger testing, and panel verification procedures.
Testing and Verification
- Witness cable testing, earthing, and panel commissioning checks before energization.
- Verify electrical installations comply with single-line diagrams and load schedules.
Progress and Reporting
- Record daily electrical site progress and report deviations from programme to the Electrical Supervisor.
- Maintain as-built markups and site test records to support handover documentation.
Innovation and Value Creation
- Introduce modern tools, technologies, and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
- Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in electrical works within construction or MEP projects.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a project engineering role.
- Proven experience in UAE construction projects.
- Knowledge of UAE authority requirements, including DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, and Etihad WE.
