Business Analyst

Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Support IT Business Partners and delivery teams in capturing and shaping demand from business units.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and business context.
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and requirements specifications.
• Document high-level business needs and pain points for demand prioritisation.
• Work with delivery teams to define detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Assist with solution validation, user acceptance testing, and business readiness activities.
• Assist the Business Architect with mapping as-is business processes.
• Ensure traceability between business needs, requirements, and delivered solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices and templates.
• Communicate complex requirements clearly and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or similar roles within IT and complex environments.
• Experience translating business needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience with process mapping and modelling techniques.
• Business analysis certifications are desirable.
