About the Role
Keolis.MHI is hiring an MEP Assistant Auditor to provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and LTE assets within the Dubai Metro premises. The role involves assisting with asset inspections, contractor performance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Assist the MEP Technical auditor and perform asset/contractor inspections for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & LTE assets.
- Perform asset inspection, maintain inspection records, and provide updates/reports to MEP Technical auditor.
- Perform SLA contractor preventive and corrective maintenance performance checks and provide technical recommendations.
- Check contractor compliance with relevant procedures and work instructions.
- Assist MEP Engineer and other technical support staff during safety incidents, P1/P2 faults, and emergencies.
- Report any safety occurrences or incidents to supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure contractor uses appropriate maintenance tools & equipment during PM/CM.
- Assist subordinates with job familiarization and maintain proactive behavior.
- Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
- Perform duties as instructed by Mechanical & Electrical contract manager and MEP Engineer.
Requirements
- Vocational trade certificate or diploma in electrical/mechanical discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years work experience in maintaining Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & LTE assets
- Working knowledge of Tunnel ventilation System (TVS), Low Voltage System (LV), Environmental Control System/Building Management System (ECS), Fire Detection/Suppression (FPS), Ventilation & Air conditioning (VAC), Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), Lifts, Travelators and Escalators (LTE), Diesel Generators (DG), Station Sliding Doors (SLD), Roller Shutter Doors (RSD), Plumbing and Dewatering systems (DPS), Smoke curtain, Hoist, Parking Guidance system (PGS), barrier etc.
- Thorough understanding of safety issues related to railway operations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to write simple technical reports
- Ability to multitask and analyze situations promptly
- Must obtain qualification as Line Person In Charge

Purpose
- The purpose of this position is to provide effective technical support to the maintenance team responsible for all aspects of Mechanical, electrical, Plumbing & LTE related engineering and maintenance works within the premises of KM Dubai Metro.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the MEP Technical auditor and perform Asset / contractor inspections for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & LTE assets covering Tunnel ventilation System (TVS), Low Voltage System (LV), Environmental Control System/ Building Management System (ECS), Fire Detection/Suppression (FPS), Ventilati
- Perform the Mechanical, electrical, Plumbing & LTE asset inspection, maintain inspection records and provide updates / reports to MEP Technical auditor.
- Perform SLA Contractor preventive and corrective maintenance performance checks and provide technical recommendation for asset and performance improvements.
- Check the Contractor is following relevant procedures and work instructions and ensure compliance with the business requirements.
- Assist the MEP Engineer and/or other technical support staff during safety incidents, P1/P2 faults and emergencies. Support and diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of equipment’s.
- Assist other department within KM organization, RTA, retail or 3rd party as per business requirements.
- Reporting any safety occurrences or incidents to their supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure that contractor is using appropriate maintenance tools & equipment during PM/CM.
- Assist subordinates with the job familiarization, maintain a proactive behaviour towards maintaining work related knowledge and competencies.
- Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
- Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the Mechanical & Electrical contract manager and MEP Engineer.
Knowledge Required
- Working knowledge in maintaining Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & LTE assets covering Tunnel ventilation System (TVS), Low Voltage System (LV), Environmental Control System/ Building Management System (ECS), Fire Detection/Suppression (FPS), Ventilation & Air conditioning (VAC), Uninterrupted Powe
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of safety issues related to railway operations.
Key Skills
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to communicate with landlord, persons responsible for a Track Possession, Worksite or movements of rail vehicles within a Possession etc.
- Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, assist in preparing work methodologies and related documents as required.
- Ability to multitask and analyse situation promptly to handle priorities.
- Establishing, supervising and implementing a safe system of work to protect the safety of persons working on Dubai metro.
- Must obtain qualification as Line Person In Charge.
