About the Role

- Represent the affiliate's medical/scientific voice for assigned products and therapeutic areas
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with External Experts
- Provide medical/scientific input into marketing strategy and commercial initiatives
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals
- Design and implement clinical research projects (Phase IV, post marketing studies)
- Review and prepare promotional/non promotional material for medical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
- Medical or scientific background with expertise in oncology
- Experience in medical affairs or MSL role
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with External Experts
- Knowledge of clinical research and study design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Primary Function
- Represent the affiliate's medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) and relevant therapeutic area(s).
- Provide medical/scientific expert advice/guidance to key customers, including scientific exchange and professional relationship development with External Experts (EEs).
- Provide medical/scientific input into Medical Affairs strategies and commercial plans.
- Ensure medical affairs role is fully integrated to support strategy and execution while being functionally independent.
Responsibilities
- Being an active brand team member to support overall strategy and execution.
- Provide medical/scientific input into marketing strategy and key commercial initiatives.
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for assigned product(s)/therapeutic area(s).
- Provide expert medical/scientific advice for assigned products and related therapeutic areas.
- Establish and maintain professional and credible relationships with External Experts and academic centers.
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
- Screen relevant literature and develop summaries of key messages.
- Deliver training to sales forces and other departments; develop training materials.
- Design and implement clinical research projects within defined standards and budgets.
- Provide oversight to manage review, approval and conduct of IIS studies.
- Support the affiliate Clinical Research Department in management of clinical studies.
- Review and preparation of promotional/non promotional material.
