Role Overview
- As part of the AbbVie and Leadership team of AA MEA, develops and/or implements the compliance and governance program across the region.
- Works to adapt/implement corporate policies and procedures, develop Affiliate SOPs, and provide training on compliance topics.
- Provides compliance guidance, advice and support to Affiliate and Regional Leadership Teams and General Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Commercial Support (30%): Provide guidance and advice to AbbVie Affiliate Leadership Team, commercial teams, proactively supporting compliance matters.
- Compliance Policies and Procedures (25%): Create and establish appropriate country policies, procedures, and standards to mitigate compliance risk.
- Compliance Training and Monitoring program (15%): Develop and provide relevant compliance training for internal employees and business partners.
- Compliance Investigation and Reporting (20%): Manage compliance deviations, escalate matters, and prepare progress reports.
- Leading People (10%): Lead, support, and develop the OEC team, manage performance and talent.
External Relationships
- Ensure development of productive relationships with key contacts, opinion leaders, authorities, regulatory authorities, payers, industry associations, trade, academic, and patient care groups.
