Overview

  • The Marketing Manager designs and delivers critical aspects of the marketing strategy to achieve commercial objectives and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership and accountability for marketing strategy, including planning, implementation, management, and optimisation for both inbound and outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Delivers on strategic KPIs by driving online traffic, leads and conversions with the ability to present these ongoing results in regular updates.
  • Understands visitor and exhibitor digital behaviour through continual testing and reporting on channel and campaign performance.
  • Benchmarks and sets new KPI targets to measure and elevate digital marketing campaign performance.
  • Works with supporting agencies to develop strategy and setup of all paid campaigns.
  • Measures and optimizes paid marketing using vendor specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
  • Identifies evolving SEO practices and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop new digital campaigns.
  • Develops new organic search growth strategies for each stage of customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with content marketing and blog contributors to create high quality content.
  • Manages and improves organic search engine performance and goal setting.
  • Designs and implements testing and optimisation strategies (including A/B testing, landing pages and CTAs).

Leadership

  • Works with line reports & marketing team to ensure successful delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Line manages digital marketer/s to implement campaign strategies.
  • Provides guidance, feedback and inspiration to line reports.

Analysis & Insight

  • Monitors campaign performances by producing relevant and timely reports.
  • Recommends changes to campaign execution based on data insights.
  • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance.
  • Shares relevant insights with wider marketing team and senior management.

Planning & Campaign Management

  • Works with marketing team to plan campaigns to meet strategic objectives.
  • Monitors operational implementation plans and ensures adherence to deadlines.
  • Assists with development of marketing budgets and ensures digital elements are up to date.

Marketing Execution

  • Works with marketers to identify target universe and key segments.
  • Assists with development of personas, value propositions and messaging.
  • Ensures timely, relevant communications through a full mix of digital channels.
