Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and leverage relevant public affairs opportunities and/or important regulatory changes on an ongoing basis
- Help establish and maintain strategic relationships with government entities and regulatory authorities in the UAE
- Support in the development and execution of public affairs plans across seven emirates
- Draft content and presentations, organize meetings and events, ensure alignment with comms and marketing teams
- Help in risk mitigation, including online/on ground support and documenting incidents
- Collaborate closely with other functions to ensure alignment between business and policy objectives, as well as sustainability goals and community outreach
- Project management of corporate responsibility initiatives
- Aligning corporate responsibility and sustainability targets to international standards and local UAE government mandates
- Measuring the social impact of the initiatives and reporting on non financial performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 6 years of experience in either Public Affairs, exposure to Communications and/or Communications and Corporate Responsibility a plus
- Agency experience and/or dynamic in house exposure, with project management experience
- Qualifications and or Experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs or Communications
- Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communications skills
- Results and data driven proven involvement in impactful PA/CR campaigns
- Dedicated, reliable and accurate with great attention to detail
- Collaborative and agile mindset, able to manage a large number of stakeholders
- Organizational skills used to simultaneously working on several projects at any one time
- Able to work under pressure with high emotional intelligence and a professional approach
