Role Summary

  • Responsible for leading the City's overall business performance, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Requires a strong leader combining strategic thinking with hands on execution, influencing stakeholders, building high performing teams, and championing innovation.

What's on Your Plate?

  • Develop and execute the City's commercial strategy to achieve topline growth and profitability targets.
  • Own the City's overall commercial performance, including advertising revenue, discount campaigns, preferred partnership programs, and other revenue generating initiatives.
  • Lead and drive high priority strategic projects to improve business performance and operational excellence.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities, identify opportunities and risks, and develop appropriate strategies.
  • Develop and present regular City performance reports and business reviews to management.
  • Foster strong cross functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic vendors, leading high impact negotiations and business reviews.
  • Set team targets, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful delivery.
  • Build, develop, and retain a high performing team through effective recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Cultivate a strong, inclusive, and performance driven culture within the City.
  • Partner closely with Public Relations and Communications teams to represent the City at industry events.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation solutions to improve team productivity and decision making.

What Did We Order?

  • 8 10+ years in Sales or commercial operations in food delivery, e commerce, or platform businesses. Ideally combined with consulting/strategy background.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership and team management experience.
  • Proven experience owning and driving P&L outcomes, performance systems, and large scale cross functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI tools, Salesforce, Tableau, and storytelling through data.
  • Advanced English proficiency (Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the food industry and market dynamics.
