Position Summary

  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of marketing communications, promotions, programs and events in support of DA divisional goals for both Samsung Electronics Digital Appliances and Dacor Canada.
  • Working with Product and Sales teams, this position will understand marketing objectives and work with internal stakeholders, Corporate Marketing, Marketing Agencies and channel partners to create deliverables that achieve SECA marketing and business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Integrated Marketing Communications: Product Launch Planning and execution for Samsung DA and Dacor (70%): Determine key messaging and positioning; Lead launch team; Create communications and programs including channel materials, advertising, social media, PR, experiential, CRM, online materials; Re
  • Channel Marketing Support for Communications and Programs (10%): Champion brand style and compliance; Support channels with materials; Collaborate with Merchandising; Review communication elements for alignment; Estimate scope of work, prepare budgets, create plan proposals and execution orders.
  • CE (HE/DA/EBD) Cross Divisional Programming (10%): Lead select ATL/BTL strategic campaigns; Work as CE representative on larger corporate programs; Find opportunities for CE to maximize ROI for corporate sponsorships.
  • General Marketing Operations Support (10%): Coordinate system submission and approvals (legal, marketing, finance, sample management); Legal approvals include AD LCP and ECMS management; Marketing Finance initiatives include Plan Proposal submissions, Execution orders, Payment Requests, PUMI submiss

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Post Secondary Education in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications; Digital marketing platforms (e.g., social media channels); Basic comprehension of French is preferred but not mandatory; Grasp of AI Tools.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 7 years work experience in a marketing role preferred; Experience must include proven performance in creative brief writing; original & adapted advertising creative & media plan development; Experience must include digital marketing.

Salary Range

  • The salary range for this role is expected to be between CAD 93,000 to CAD 128,000 and reflects base salary only.
  • Actual pay will be determined based on job related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
