- Integrate product, price, promotions and the buying journey seamlessly for the customer
- Maximize data and insights enabling targeted promotions, offers and effective sellout programs
- Commercial planning for overall Mobile category, specifically HHP & Wearables for DTC division
- Align overall marketing fund for Mobile with key targets for revenue including new innovations across all channels
- Manage assortment strategy across all channels, understanding differentiation strategies and key products
- Develop & support short term and long term strategies and promotion plans to maximize DtC
- Perform QA on all online product and offer launches
- SECA Product lifecycle management, EOL plan
- Collaborate with performance marketing, strategy & planning, operations, customer experience, finance, legal and division sales teams
- Analyze and manage P&L impact of promotions and apply to future planning
- Develop monthly sales forecast by working with different account managers and SCMs
- Manage business relationships with external partners (eCommerce Reseller, Distributor, Payment provider, etc.)
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree in Marketing or Business or related field or equivalent experience in consumer electronics industry
- 8 10 years’ experience in OMNI, eCommerce & Marketplace, strategy & planning, product management
- Thorough understanding of product and promotion cycles
- Experience working with Brand stores, Ecommerce, B2B and Marketplace
- Demonstrated people management skills
- Expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and proficiency with Online Analytical Processing (e.g., Omniture & Google analytics)
- Strong analytical & persuasion skills
- Exceptional organizational & planning skills and attention to detail
- Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and able to work with limited supervision

Position Summary
- The Senior Manager, Category Management, Direct to Consumer (MX), reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales, DtC, is the lead for the Mobile (MX) division and external customers.
- The incumbent is accountable for DtC revenue (Samsung Brand Stores and S.com/Apps, key customer strategies and category profitability.
- This role is key to aligning with the Mobile Business division product category goals and objectives and meet the Market share growth targets.
- The incumbent is responsible for overseeing Mobile OMNI channel business, working closely to develop new sellout platform initiatives, leveraging Marketing and media to increase customer loyalty, retention and new acquisition/switching.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer First focus: meeting the needs of the customer where and when they want to shop & experience the brand.
- Integrates product, price, promotions and the buying journey seamlessly for the customer.
- Maximizes data and insights enabling targeted promotions, offers and effective sellout programs.
- Innovation and continuous improvement strategies to improve the customer needs and changes in the market dynamics.
- Commercial planning for overall Mobile category, specifically HHP & Wearables for DTC division.
- Align overall marketing fund for Mobile, with key targets for revenue including new innovations across all channels.
- Manage assortment strategy across all channels, understanding differentiation strategies and key products.
- Develop & support short term and long term strategies and promotion plans to maximize DtC.
- Ensure all communications are compliant from an IP, legal & product perspective.
- Perform QA on all online product and offer launches.

- Collaborate with performance marketing, strategy & planning, operations, customer experience, finance, legal and division sales teams to build tactical product and promotion plans.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree in Marketing or Business or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in consumer electronics industry.
- Demonstrated people management skills.
- Expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and proficiency with Online Analytical Processing (ie. Omniture & Google analytics).
- Strong analytical & persuasion skills.
- Possess exceptional organizational & planning skills and attention to detail while having Sense of curiosity & urgency.
- Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in the organization.
- Self motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel overseas.
- 8 10 years’ experience in OMNI, eCommerce & Marketplace, strategy & planning, product management.
- Thorough understanding of product and promotion cycles.
