About the Role
Deloitte is hiring an Audit & Assurance Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead audit engagements, review documentation, and ensure compliance with standards. Requires 6+ years of public accounting experience, a degree in Accounting, and an international accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or CPA).

Responsibilities
- Build trust and credibility by focusing on multiple stakeholder needs and providing constructive challenge.
- Review documentation of flows of transactions and tests of relevant controls early in the audit cycle.
- Suggest mitigating testing when controls are found to be ineffective.
- Recognize opportunities to add value and integrate specialists as part of the core audit engagement team.
- Participate in group risk assessment scoping of work for component auditors.
- Run file check regularly throughout the audit and ensure all points are cleared.
- Engage early with scheduling and communicate expectations to the engagement team.
- Communicate project plan and dependencies with entity's management team.
- Perform reviews with professional scepticism, assessing appropriateness of assumptions and data.
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, laws, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- International accounting qualification: CA, ACCA, or CPA
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
- Preference for bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
