Responsibilities
- Participate in client workshops and team meetings to capture testing needs against requirements and acceptance criteria
- Join Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand ups, retros) and represent testing team needs
- Support throughout all test phases of software systems implementation projects (Functional, SIT, E2E, UAT, etc.)
- Translate requirements and user stories into clear test scenarios and cases
- Assist with API testing and basic automation under guidance
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr to plan and track test execution, test data management, and logging defects
- Share concise test updates, risks, and issues with technical and non technical stakeholders
- Apply analytical skills to identify failures and assist in troubleshooting and proposing next steps
- Use AI tools to draft test cases, generate test data, and summarize logs while verifying outputs
Requirements
- Self identify as First Nations (Status or Non Status), Inuit, or Métis in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Jira, Confluence)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, team oriented environment

What will your typical day look like?
- As an Analyst / Consultant within the Quality Engineering team at R8dius, you will help clients solve complex business and technology problems through thoughtful questioning, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement technology enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities General
- Participate in client workshops and team meetings to capture testing needs against requirements and associated acceptance criteria.
- Join Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand‑ups, retros) and represent testing team needs.
- Support throughout all test phases of various software systems implementation projects (Functional, SIT, E2E, UAT, etc).
- Keep up with tools and practices that improve testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Technical
- Translate requirements and user stories into clear test scenarios and cases.
- Join technical discussions to clarify testability and acceptance criteria.
- Assist with API testing and basic automation under guidance.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr and similar, to plan and track test execution, test data management, and logging defects.
- Share concise test updates, risks, and issues with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Apply analytical skills to identify failures and assist in troubleshooting and proposing next steps.
Key Responsibilities AI Enablement
- Use AI tools to draft test cases, generate test data, and summarize logs—while always verifying outputs.
- Require proficiency in AI and machine learning tools for data analysis, pattern recognition, and deriving actionable insights to optimize business operations.
- Leverage AI solutions that automate repetitive tasks, increasing efficiency and allowing focus on strategic activities.
- Demonstrate understanding of ethical AI practices, emphasizing transparency, and accountability in AI usage.
Our ideal candidate
- Self identifies as First Nations (Status or Non Status), Inuit, or Métis in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Demonstrates a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Prior internship, academic, or project experience in a software development environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with application development, Test Automation, AI/ML concepts, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), data analysis, DevOps, or integration.
- Demonstrated leadership or teamwork experience through campus involvement or extracurricular activities.
Total Rewards
- Salary range: CAD 50,000 CAD 90,000 for Analysts and CAD 58,000 CAD 102,000 for Consultants.
- Eligible to participate in bonus program.
