Responsibilities
- Build trust and credibility by meeting multiple stakeholder needs and providing constructive challenge on engagement issues
- Review documentation of flows of transactions and tests of relevant controls early in the audit cycle
- Suggest mitigating testing when controls are found to be ineffective
- Recognize opportunities to add value and integrate specialists as part of the core audit engagement team
- Participate in group risk assessment scoping and prepare referral instructions for component auditors
- Run file checks regularly throughout the audit and ensure timely archiving
- Communicate project plan and entity related dependencies with management
- Perform reviews with professional skepticism, assessing appropriateness of assumptions and data
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- International accounting qualification: CA, ACCA, or CPA
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
- Bilingual in Arabic/English preferred

Audit & Assurance | Manager Responsibilities

- Compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, independence requirements, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management, budget, business plan, business strategy, preferably with big 4 Audit Firms.
- Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of best practice reporting and International financial reporting standards.
- Ability to develop one's own knowledge and the knowledge of others as it relates to Deloitte's tools and audit methodology.
- Ability to thoroughly review audit documentation for completeness, accuracy and adequacy.
- International accounting qualification is required: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
- Preference will be given only to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
