Job Purpose

  • The primary purpose is to facilitate drivers and helpers in daily activities; ensure accurate and timely asset scheduling and routing; driver activity management; maintain procedural conformance and operational integrity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day Transport Operations in terms of scheduling, routing and driver activity management.
  • Preparing the scheduling and routing of assets to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Preparing KPIs and reports accurately within process timeframes.
  • Ensuring compliance to all operational procedures, policies and practices.
  • Notifying Supervisor in the event of an emergency or unusual events.
  • Proactively identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Maintaining professional partnering relationships with inter department teams.
  • Performing any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Bachelor Degree/ Diploma.
  • 2 years experience in logistics and transportation.
  • Communication skills (oral & written).
  • Analytical skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Planning and time management skills.
  • Personal Ownership.
  • Adaptability.
