About the Role
Holiday Inn is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of pool users and maintain facility cleanliness. The role requires a valid Lifeguard Certification from the Saudi Arabian Swimming Federation and strong guest service skills.

Responsibilities
- Interact with the public responsibly and welcome all users of the facilities
- Maintain a vigilant watch of the swimming pool areas and ensure safety of all pool users and staff
- Check safety of equipment and report any damage or malfunction immediately
- Assist in preparation and operation of events and activities, including assembly and dismantling of equipment
- Ensure a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities
- Patrol all areas of the facility and ensure correct usage
- Assist with supervision and control of children's activities including parties, play schemes and courses
- Perform routine checks of customers' receipts to ensure proof of payment for entry to the swimming pool
- Comply with Pool's Health and Safety procedures at all times
- Ensure all Pool equipment is stored safely and securely when not in use
- Attend relevant training courses as required by IHG
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification issued or recognized by the Saudi Arabian Swimming Federation
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, sports club, or recreational facility preferred
- Good communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- Maintain a vigilant watch of the swimming pool areas and take necessary action to ensure safety.
- Check safety of equipment and report any damage or malfunction immediately.

- Ensure a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities.
- Ensure lost property is handled and recorded in line with procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification issued or recognized by the Saudi Arabian Swimming Federation is mandatory.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
