  • Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is looking for an efficient, passionate, and team oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team!
  • Our hotel offers a variety of unique food and beverage experiences, from international dining at Silk Route Café to vibrant evenings at Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge.

What's the job?

  • Deliver warm, friendly, and personalized service in line with Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards.
  • Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items, beverages, and promotions to confidently assist guests and maximize upselling opportunities.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle guest feedback professionally to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the restaurant, bar, and service areas throughout the shift.
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Ensure the proper handling, storage, and care of food, beverages, equipment, and hotel assets.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and using hotel resources responsibly.

What We Need From You

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 4 years restaurant experience in a full service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local/government authorities.
  • Excellent knowledge of a la carte menus, wine and beverage lists, current and emerging food trends.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co workers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize workload; high grooming standards; flexibility to work a 6 day rotating roster – overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts are all part of the job.
