- Deliver warm, friendly, and personalized service in line with Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards
- Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure timely and efficient service
- Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items, beverages, and promotions to confidently assist guests and maximize upselling opportunities
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle guest feedback professionally
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the restaurant, bar, and service areas throughout the shift
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and occupational health and safety standards
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and care of food, beverages, equipment, and hotel assets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly
- Support sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and using hotel resources responsibly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 4 years restaurant experience in a full service outlet or similar setting
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local/government authorities
- Excellent knowledge of a la carte menus, wine and beverage lists, current and emerging food trends
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co workers
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize workload
- High grooming standards
- Flexibility to work a 6 day rotating roster – overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts

What We Need From You
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 4 years restaurant experience in a full service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local/government authorities.
- Excellent knowledge of a la carte menus, wine and beverage lists, current and emerging food trends.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co workers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.
