Overview
- An international consultancy company is seeking a Legal Specialist for its building construction, Land and Water Transport Infrastructure project located in East Africa Rwanda.
Qualifications
- The Legal Expert shall hold a master’s degree in law, with specialization in areas such as Commercial Law, Contract Law, or International Business Law.
- Active membership in a recognized Bar Association or Law Society is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional legal practice, preferably in advisory roles for large scale projects, public sector institutions, or international organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment for multi stakeholder projects.
- Proven track record of advising on procurement processes, project financing agreements, and compliance with national and international legal frameworks.
- Experience working with or within project management firms, consultancy companies, or donor funded projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the legal environment in Rwanda and/or the East African region will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency English language is a must.
