About the role
Qatar Airways is recruiting a Front Office Assistant for its Flight Operations ITC team in Doha, Qatar.
The Flight Operations ITC department provides simulation-based training facilities for disciplines in the commercial aviation industry.
The role focuses on customer service, customer satisfaction, and responding to customer enquiries.
Specific responsibilities
- Attend to queries and requirements from trainers, trainees, internal guests, and external guests.
- Maintain front desk records, documentary files, inventory counts, and training-material coordination.
- Resolve minor IT issues involving keyboards, mice, projectors, sound systems, and desktop computers.
- Provide administrative and operational support during non-office hours and weekends.
- Maintain device and classroom logs and report noted defects to the relevant team for action.
- Check simulator schedules, classrooms, FTDs, reporting times, trainee numbers, and related queries in AIMS.
- Use SIMS to book classrooms, simulators, FTDs, and door trainers, update issued training materials, and record session no-shows.
Qualifications
- Relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a service-oriented, facilities, hospitality, or customer-focused environment.
