Role Overview
Qatar Airways is hiring a Lead Technical Storekeeper for its Qatar Executive team in Doha.
The role controls aircraft spares, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and other technical materials for maintenance and shop activities.
Specific Responsibilities
- Manage storage, binning, receiving, dispatch, issuing, and transfer of aircraft spares, tools, and equipment.
- Update TRAX, maintain records, and investigate inventory discrepancies to preserve data accuracy.
- Check completeness and serviceability, monitor calibration and tool expiry, and follow up on outstanding tools.
- Comply with QR, QCAA, EASA-145, OEM, and other applicable requirements for storage and handling.
- Control cleanliness, environmental conditions, ESDS handling, shelf life, tool life, batch control, dangerous goods, and item traceability.
- Coordinate shipment clearance and receiving checks and prepare acceptance or rejection documentation.
- Dispatch spares and tools for repair and outstation needs and ship dangerous goods under IATA requirements.
- Meet Quality, Finance, and HSE requirements and help prevent work stoppages or aircraft-on-ground situations.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school qualification, diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent with a minimum of two years of job-related experience.
