About the role

Lead Business Intelligence Analyst role focused on People Analytics within the HR Strategy, Transformation & Digital function.

The role supports an HRBI team based in Doha and serves stakeholders across a large international organization.

The position is expected to work independently on high-impact analytics projects.

Mission and responsibilities

  • Create and maintain HR dashboards and deep-dive analytics to improve HR decision-making.
  • Centralize HR data from business functions and HR systems into the data warehouse.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends in hiring, attrition, mobility, and related workforce measures.
  • Integrate AI-driven insights, forecasting, and automation into People Analytics.
  • Deliver trusted insights to stakeholders to influence workforce strategies.
  • Build and improve real-time dashboards used by leadership and colleagues.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the Department Head or Chief People Officer.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least four years of job-related experience with large-scale, complex datasets and data visualization, reporting, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, joining, analyzing, and automating data.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel Power Query.
  • Strong critical thinking, numerical, statistical, and data modelling skills.
  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct end-user training.
  • Team-oriented approach and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings through fact-based storytelling.

Preferred experience

  • Experience with large datasets in fast-paced environments, particularly people data and metrics, is preferred.
  • Experience in a large airline or organization with more than 10,000 employees is preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools, data warehouse, or data governance projects is preferred.
  • Experience with GCP, Azure, AI or machine learning features, Python, automation, coding, or programming is preferred.
  • Additional reputable certifications in Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, AI, Mathematics, or Statistics are preferred.
