Job Description

  • Department: Operations/Warehouse
  • Location: Dubai South, UAE
  • Reports To: Domestic Operations Supervisor (once filled) / Shift Manager Domestic in the interim

Key Responsibilities

  • Hub Operations: Own Dubai Hub night operations, mirroring day shift ownership across aging, dispatch, and floor management.
  • Own forward and reverse aging overnight, ensuring all orders are cleared by the shift end cutoff.
  • Keep the floor clear and ensure all same day and PDD orders are dispatched before shift close.
  • Team Management: Manage the night debriefer and dispatcher, including staff attendance and shift management.
  • Arrange drivers for overnight dispatch.
  • Tickets & Reporting: Own night ticket management, including CS WhatsApp groups, escalations, and customer inquiries — resolved overnight rather than left for the morning team.
  • Produce the night performance and CRA aging report and hand it directly to the day Team Leader.
  • Conduct a formal morning handover (verbal and written) to the day Team Leader, covering open items and overnight incidents.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle overnight delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints, escalating only what cannot be resolved on shift.

Your skills would include

  • Proven experience in last mile logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in an e commerce or high volume delivery environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, route planning tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
