The Digital Commerce Lead for Saudi Arabia is accountable for defining, owning, and scaling Haleon’s end-to-end Digital Commerce agenda across one of the company’s most strategic growth markets.
This includes leadership across eGrocery, ePharmacy, Q-Commerce, Pure Players, marketplaces, and Pharma Connect / B2B digital platforms, ensuring strong omnichannel execution and sustainable commercial growth.
The role sets the national Digital Commerce vision, delivers material business impact, and accelerates Haleon’s transformation across Oral Health, Pain, Respiratory, and Wellness.
As a senior market leader, you will shape strategy, influence regional priorities, build LOC digital capability, and orchestrate cross-functional execution to ensure Haleon wins where consumers and patients choose to shop.
1. Strategic Leadership & Market Ownership
- Define and lead the Saudi Arabia Digital Commerce strategy across all digital routes to market, ensuring alignment with Haleon MEA priorities and long‑term category ambitions.
- Set clear annual business priorities, investment frameworks, and a multi‑year roadmap to drive penetration, relevance, and profitable growth.
- Represent Saudi Arabia in MEA Digital Commerce planning cycles, providing market‑specific insights, opportunities, and scalable best practices.
2. Commercial Accountability & Growth
- Own full commercial accountability for Digital Commerce performance, including revenue, value share, profitability, and investment effectiveness across B2C and B2B.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with strategically selected priority eGrocery, ePharmacy, Q‑Commerce, Pure Player, and Pharma Connect partners.
- Drive data‑led decision making to optimize investment, assortment, and activation during mega events, seasonality, and healthcare demand peaks.
3. Platform & Partner Leadership
- Build and maintain senior, strategic relationships with key digital partners across eGrocery, ePharmacy, Q‑Commerce, Pure Players, and B2B platforms.
- Secure preferred partner status, strong joint category visions, and best‑in‑class execution standards for Haleon brands.
- Identify, onboard, and scale new digital routes‑to‑market and emerging platforms relevant to Saudi Arabia’s evolving ecosystem.
4. Pharma Connect & B2B Digital Commerce
- Own the Pharma Connect / B2B Digital Commerce strategy in Saudi Arabia as a core pillar of Haleon’s Digital Commerce model.
- Ensure strong alignment and execution across Sales, Trade, Finance, Supply Chain, and Medical functions, respecting regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Drive digitization of pharmacy and institutional engagement, improving visibility, efficiency, and consistency across the value chain.
5. Digital Shelf & Experience Excellence
- Ensure best‑in‑class digital shelf standards across all platforms, including availability, pricing integrity, content quality, and conversion performance.
- Champion global Haleon toolkits while leading local testing and continuous optimization to improve the consumer and patient experience.
6. Retail Media & Investment Effectiveness
- Define and lead the Saudi Arabia retail media strategy across eGrocery, ePharmacy, Q‑Commerce, and marketplaces.
- Track and manage performance across ROAS, CPA, incrementality, and media‑driven revenue.
- Partner closely with Marketing to embed Digital Commerce priorities into brand and category plans.
7. Assortment, Pricing & Portfolio Strategy
- Develop channel‑specific portfolio strategies, including online exclusives, bundles, and healthcare‑relevant SKUs.
- Govern pricing, promotions, and value architecture in line with Haleon principles and local regulations.
- Lead category, seasonal, and health‑mission‑driven planning across digital channels.
8. Supply Chain & Execution
- Partner with Supply Chain to improve forecasting accuracy, OTIF, and inventory readiness across digital channels.
- Lead cross‑functional planning for peak trading moments, epidemics, and mega events.
- Support new fulfilment models and integrations required to enable scale and execution excellence.
9. Insights & Performance Management
- Own executive‑ready dashboards covering GMV, net sales, share, media performance, and profitability.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations to support leadership decision making.
- Track macro digital and healthcare trends impacting Haleon’s categories in Saudi Arabia.
10. Capability Building & Education
- Act as the Digital Commerce capability leader for the Saudi Arabia LOC.
- Educate, upskill, and influence peers and senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Trade, Supply Chain, Finance, and Medical on digital commerce evolution and best practices.
- Coach teams, support talent development, and embed digital‑first ways of working into planning cycles and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years’ experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or Digital Commerce.
- Proven leadership across eGrocery, ePharmacy, Q‑Commerce, Pure Players, or B2B digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabia digital and pharmacy ecosystem.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and analytical capability.
