About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all kitchen and laundry equipment with exquisite craftsmanship, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
• Uphold the preventive maintenance and shift readings programs meticulously, guaranteeing the peak performance of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair kitchen equipment, ensuring sensational results.
• Identify issues, develop efficient solutions, and minimize downtime in the kitchen.
• Evaluate equipment usage and energy efficiency, taking appropriate measures to optimize performance and minimize energy consumption.
• Manage and update all kitchen and laundry shop drawings, ensuring their accuracy and reflecting any necessary modifications.
• Maintain the equipment catalogue and tagging directories, keeping them up to date and organized for easy accessibility and reference.
• Complete necessary paperwork, work orders, and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Update a comprehensive daily log book, documenting any encountered problems, their corresponding solutions, and relevant activities with meticulous detail.
• Participate in regular departmental meetings, contributing valuable feedback and offering insightful suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive health and safety documentation and records specific to the assigned area, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Uphold environmentally friendly practices when handling chemicals and refrigerants, promoting sustainable and responsible methods.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role in a Luxury Hotel or Healthcare environment in the UAE.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Refrigeration Systems, Kitchen Equipment Maintenance and Laundry Equipment Maintenance.
• Exceptional physical stamina and endurance to handle heavy lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
• Strong ability to work autonomously, taking proactive initiative to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive nature, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail.
