Role Overview
Maintain and service kitchen and laundry equipment to high operational standards.
Support culinary and housekeeping departments by helping ensure reliable equipment performance and guest service continuity.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and exhaust systems.
- Service washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping departments.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, complete repairs, or recommend equipment replacements.
- Coordinate specialized vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance workshop and tool inventory.
Compliance and Documentation
- Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations for electrical and gas-powered appliances.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and equipment service history for audit and compliance purposes.
