About the Role
BeWunder is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support turnkey projects in Dubai. You will assist with cost estimates, budgets, and commercial controls across fit-out, event production, and technical systems.

Responsibilities
- Support preparation of detailed cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals for turnkey projects
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), scope breakdowns and structured work packages during tender and proposal phases
- Support preparation of tender packages and requests for quotations for subcontractors and suppliers
- Review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing
- Assist with value engineering initiatives to align project budgets with requirements
- Support project teams with cost tracking, budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Assist in management of variations, change orders and commercial adjustments
- Contribute to commercial reporting and cost forecasting
Requirements
- 1 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, Cost Control, Commercial Management or related discipline
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline preferred
- Basic understanding of project costing, tendering processes and commercial management principles
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent English required; additional languages like German advantageous
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, accountability

Your Mission
- As a Junior Quantity Surveyor focused on Turnkey Projects, you ensure commercial success from tender to project completion.
- You support development of accurate cost estimates, project budgets and commercial controls across fit out, exhibition construction, event production, AV, lighting, infrastructure and technical systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Support preparation of detailed cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals for turnkey projects.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), scope breakdowns and structured work packages during tender and proposal phases.
- Support preparation of tender packages and requests for quotations for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations to help ensure competitive pricing and commercial value.
- Assist with value engineering initiatives to align project budgets with design, technical and operational requirements.
- Support project teams with cost tracking, budget monitoring and financial reporting during project execution.
- Assist in management of variations, change orders and commercial adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to commercial reporting and cost forecasting to ensure project teams remain informed of budget performance and potential risks.
Your Profile
- 1 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, Cost Control, Commercial Management or related discipline.
- Experience in construction related industries such as main contracting, interior fit out, exhibition construction, MEP, infrastructure, media technology, system integration or similar advantageous.
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline preferred but not essential.
- Basic understanding of project costing, tendering processes and commercial management principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Fluent English required; additional languages, particularly German, considered an advantage.
- Positive attitude, strong willingness to learn, curiosity, accountability and desire to develop professionally.
