- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with transportation regulations, including DOT requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline operations and resolve escalations.
- Manage and resolve complex dispatch and customer service issues.
- Maintain and improve dispatch procedures, workflows, and training materials.
- Oversee dispatch software systems and ensure effective use of technology tools for optimisation.
- Participate in budgeting and cost control initiatives for the dispatch function.
- Lead regular team meetings to communicate updates, performance, and operational priorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of dispatch activities and operational metrics.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in transportation and logistics operations.
- Lead, supervise, and support the dispatch team including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
