Role Overview

  • The Executive – IT Support will provide end user technical support and ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Combines Microsoft 365 administration, IT helpdesk support, system maintenance, backup management, and IT asset coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft 365 users, licenses, permissions, and security settings.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, email services, and connectivity related issues.
  • Support email configuration, mailbox management, and collaboration tools.
  • Work with business teams to identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
  • Evaluate, implement, and roll out new Microsoft 365 applications and features.
  • Develop user guides, conduct training sessions, and provide post implementation support.
  • Provide first and second level technical support to end users across the organization.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform operating system installations, upgrades, patch management, and routine maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support user onboarding, workstation setup, and access management.
  • Maintain IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Monitor and manage data backup processes and recovery procedures.
  • Support antivirus, endpoint protection, and IT security initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing IT security policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in system health checks, security reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and related documentation.
  • Track hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and warranties.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, repairs, and support.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending IT products and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or a similar role.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 administration is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, end user computing, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience supporting users in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
  • Windows 10/11 and Windows Server Administration.
  • Active Directory and User Management.
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting.
  • Backup and Recovery Processes.
  • Network and Connectivity Support.
  • Remote Support Tools.
  • IT Asset and License Management.
  • Endpoint Security Solutions.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS 900).
  • Microsoft Certified Administrator Certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Additional Microsoft or Infrastructure related certifications.
