Job Summary
Support global IT software and hardware procurement operations across EMEA, APAC, and India.
Execute sourcing and purchasing activities including vendor quotes, pricing negotiations, purchase orders, and hardware fulfillment coordination.
Focus on operational excellence, process adherence, transactional efficiency, and alignment with global procurement standards.
Procurement Execution
- Obtain vendor quotes for IT hardware requests using approved standards and preferred suppliers.
- Create, submit, and manage purchase orders in procurement systems.
- Validate pricing, quantities, delivery timelines, and supporting documentation.
- Track purchase orders through fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.
Pricing and Negotiation
- Evaluate vendor quotes against historical pricing, benchmarks, and existing agreements.
- Conduct low-to-medium complexity negotiations for standard hardware purchases.
- Compare quotes across approved vendors and apply defined sourcing strategies, rate cards, and pricing guidance.
- Identify pricing discrepancies or non-standard terms and escalate them to Strategic Sourcing.
