Role Overview

About TGP International

Design Expertise

• Deliver creative solutions across multiple small, medium, and large-scale projects and geographies.
• Lead projects and the creative process from concept to delivery with strong design narratives.
• Develop concepts, design presentations, test fits, spatial plans, and 3D models with focus on guest experience and operational functionality.
• Review drawing packages, finishes, and FF&E specifications and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Apply knowledge of detailing, materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, fabrication, and construction processes.
• Build relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, makers, and industry partners.

Project Leadership and Management

• Take accountability for creative and commercial project delivery to TGP quality standards.
• Maintain hands-on involvement from concept through design development, documentation, and delivery.
• Make decisions on resourcing, priorities, workflows, responsibilities, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Manage programmes, budgets, contractual scope, fees, and commercial requirements.
• Identify risks and provide timely reporting on progress, resourcing, and key issues.

Team and Client Leadership

• Foster a collaborative environment where knowledge and best practice are shared.
• Lead, mentor, and train junior team members and support team performance.
• Manage workloads and workflows across concurrent projects and support resource planning.
• Manage client relationships and present creative concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Support new business, events, publications, fee bids, RFPs, and fee negotiations.

Software Proficiency

• Required software includes Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Miro and Asana is advantageous.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in interior design or interior architecture.
• Significant hospitality and food and beverage experience with a strong portfolio across relevant environments and RIBA stages 1-6.
• Proven ability to create narrative-driven concepts and lead projects through technical delivery.
• Experience managing and developing design teams, with strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills.
• A bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• The right to work in the UK.

Workplace

• The role is based in the Covent Garden studio in London.
• The working model is hybrid, with three days per week in the studio and two days working remotely from home.
