About the Role
Ankabut is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead the operational implementation and enhancement of the organization's information security framework in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory obligations and leading industry practices
- Conduct enterprise wide information security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, and provide actionable recommendations
- Monitor networks, systems, applications, and data to detect vulnerabilities, threats, and security incidents; ensure timely mitigation and response
- Manage security incident response processes, including investigation, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions
- Oversee security audits, compliance reviews, and internal assessments; ensure remediation of identified gaps and continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for information security, privacy, and copyright related incidents, coordinating with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Drive the implementation of security architectures, controls, and technologies to address emerging threats and enhance security posture
- Lead information security awareness and training programs to strengthen organizational security culture
- Supervise the deployment, modernization, and continuous support of security systems, tools, and technologies
- Support the development and monitoring of the IT/security budget to ensure alignment with planned expenditures
- Ensure adherence to Ankabut’s policies and procedures and report any breaches or security risks promptly
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support security initiatives and ensure effective integration across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent
- UAE Nationals: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in information security; Expatriates: Minimum 5–7 years
- Demonstrated experience in security governance, risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance
