- Manage the import processes for dental equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers, prepare and review import documentation, track shipments, and resolve customs or clearance issues
- Collaborate with clinic and laboratory teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of all import activities
- Proactively communicate and manage multiple shipments and deadlines
Requirements
- Strong Import and Import Export skills, including experience with documentation, compliance, and coordination with customs and regulatory authorities
- Export knowledge related to international trade processes, supplier coordination, and cross border regulations
- Customer Service skills to manage communication with vendors, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ocean freight logistics skills, including familiarity with shipping schedules, incoterms, and freight forwarding procedures
- Relevant experience in healthcare, dental, or medical supplies importation is beneficial
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with proficiency in using spreadsheets and inventory or ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred

Role Description
- The Import Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, combining on site work at VIP Dental Clinic with some work from home flexibility.
- This position is responsible for managing the import processes for dental equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Day to day tasks include coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers, preparing and reviewing import documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any customs or clearance issues.
- The Import Manager will also collaborate with clinic and laboratory teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of all import activities.
- The role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Import and Import Export skills, including experience with documentation, compliance, and coordination with customs and regulatory authorities.
- Candidates should possess Export knowledge related to international trade processes, supplier coordination, and cross border regulations.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage communication with vendors, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Candidates should possess Ocean freight logistics skills, including familiarity with shipping schedules, incoterms, and freight forwarding procedures.
- Relevant experience in healthcare, dental, or medical supplies importation is beneficial.
