Role Overview
Assist implementation and drive improvement of the HSE management system across circuit operations and major events.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and sporting requirements while reporting to the H&S Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HSE inspections, risk assessments, and safety observations.
- Monitor Permit-to-Work activities and contractor compliance.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, including root cause analysis.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Support fire safety inspections and emergency preparedness.
- Maintain HSE records, corrective actions, and performance reports.
- Support event readiness and on-site safety monitoring.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate is mandatory.
- IOSH Managing Safely or an equivalent certification.
- Minimum five years of relevant HSE experience.
- Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment, contractor safety, and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Experience in major events, motorsport, construction, entertainment venues, or other high-risk operational environments is preferred.
