Role overview

Provides organized, proactive, and technically knowledgeable administrative support for workshop and sporting fleet operations.

Supports spare parts administration, ERP transactions, maintenance documentation, inventory control, and fleet readiness for motorsport activities and international events.

Works with the Head of Mechanics and technical teams across bikes, go-karts, cross karts, racing cars, and related sporting fleet assets.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage sporting fleet spare parts inventory, stock levels, storage, availability, and replenishment coordination.
  • Maintain traceability for critical components and complete service, inspection, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Track preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and report on fleet readiness and parts usage.
  • Process workshop ERP transactions, including purchase requests, stock movements, and material issuance.
  • Support workshop administration, reporting, record keeping, event checklists, and internal coordination.
  • Coordinate vehicle movement between workshop and track operations and assist technical teams during race events and track activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or associate qualification in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a workshop, fleet, or automotive environment.
  • Solid understanding of spare parts, workshop operations, and maintenance processes.
  • Comfort with ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work with technical teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Motorsport experience is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with fleet systems and document control processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid Qatar driving license is preferred.

Additional requirements

  • The posting requests candidates currently based in Qatar with a valid Residence Permit, or QID.
  • A No Objection Certificate may be required for the duration of the assignment.

Employment arrangement

  • This is a fixed-term contract role lasting 11 months, with possible further engagement subject to performance and organizational requirements.
