Role Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures cleanliness and orderliness across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
The role leads the housekeeping team and contributes to guest satisfaction and hotel operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign daily tasks and provide keys, supplies, and other resources to Housekeeping Attendants.
- Handle guest requests and complaints and ensure effective resolution.
- Inspect guest rooms against cleanliness and quality assurance standards.
- Monitor room status and coordinate with the Front Office Department.
- Report damaged items and broken equipment to Engineering.
- Follow lost and found procedures.
- Order housekeeping supplies and manage inventory.
- Evaluate attendant performance and provide feedback.
- Train Room Attendants on Standards of Performance procedures.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety policies.
Requirements
- Ability to supervise Housekeeping Attendants and maintain cleanliness, quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
