About the Role
Elegant Qubes Group is seeking a qualified Health and Safety Officer (HSE Officer) to implement and enforce HSE standards across warehouses, production facilities, project sites, and events.

Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards across all projects and facilities
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace assessments
- Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and potential risks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations, project requirements, and client safety standards
- Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and employee safety awareness programs
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all sites and facilities
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety violations and prepare detailed reports
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans
- Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and visitors comply with site safety requirements
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and first aid readiness
- Maintain safety records, permits, inspection reports, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the UAE
- Experience in exhibitions, events, interior fit out, construction, manufacturing, or related industries highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk management, and safety compliance requirements
- Valid UAE Driving License preferred

Job Purpose
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all company operations, project sites, warehouses, and production facilities.
- Promote a strong safety culture by identifying risks, implementing preventive measures, conducting inspections, and ensuring safe working practices throughout all project phases.
- Support project teams in maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in the UAE.
- Experience in exhibitions, events, interior fit out, construction, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk management, and safety compliance requirements.
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
