Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales success across the Middle East, leading the team to achieve order intake targets
- Lead the entire sales journey from opportunity qualification to deal closing
- Build lasting customer relationships across the region
- Collaborate across Gas Services, EAD, and other stakeholders to unlock growth opportunities
- Gather market intelligence and identify new business opportunities
- Develop compelling business cases through economic analysis
- Orchestrate cross functional support during bid preparation
- Influence product development by providing regional market input
- Ensure compliance and ethical business conduct
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in the compression industry within Oil & Gas
- Proven track record of commercial success
- Deep expertise in managing customer relationships across Offshore, Gas Processing, Pipelines, and Downstream segments
- Strong knowledge of international industry standards, regulations, and market dynamics
- Solid understanding of compression technologies (centrifugal, process, high speed reciprocating compressors)
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Middle East region

- The VP Compression Middle East is responsible for driving our Compression portfolio growth across Middle East, driving a sales force team to ensure order entry and profitability.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Own and drive the sales success story across the Middle East, leading the team to achieve ambitious order intake targets
- Take the lead on the entire sales journey—from opportunity qualification and strategy development to negotiation, deal closing, and seamless internal alignment
- Be the trusted face of the business, partnering closely with proposal and commercial sales leads while building lasting customer relationships across the region
- Break down silos and champion collaboration across Gas Services, EAD, and other key stakeholders
- Stay connected with customers, keeping relationships strong and meaningful
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the market by gathering intelligence, spotting trends, and identifying the next big opportunity
- Turn customer insights into action through market analysis
- Empower regional sales teams to uncover and secure new business opportunities
- Build compelling business cases through robust economic analysis
- Orchestrate cross functional support during bid preparation and drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Influence the future by providing regional market input into product development
- Lead with integrity by ensuring compliance and ethical business conduct
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally with a Mechanical Engineering background
- 10+ years of experience in the compression industry within Oil & Gas, paired with a proven track record of commercial success
- Deep expertise in managing customer relationships across Offshore, Gas Processing, Pipelines, and Downstream segments
- Strong knowledge of international industry standards, regulations, and market dynamics
- A sharp analytical mindset and a talent for uncovering business opportunities
- Solid understanding of compression technologies, including centrifugal compressors, process compressors, and high speed reciprocating compressors
- Awareness of climate change trends and energy policies
- A history of developing and executing winning sales strategies
- Outstanding communication, networking, and relationship building skills
- Experience thriving in multicultural environments
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
- Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and time management abilities
