A Snapshot of Your Day

  • As a Sales Manager for digital grid solutions, you will drive growth by developing strong relationships with utilities, developers, EPCs, and industrial clients while managing the full sales cycle from opportunity development to order closing.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Develop new business by identifying and pursuing opportunities with utilities, developers, EPCs, and industrial clients, while building and nurturing strong, long term relationships with key decision makers.
  • Own the full sales cycle for digital grids—from opportunity development and feasibility studies to bidding, contract negotiation, and order closing—in close coordination with tendering management.
  • Define and execute winning strategies, including project setup, target pricing, Bid/No Bid decisions, and tailored market and customer acquisition plans for your respective markets.
  • Analyze the market, competitors, and customers, ensuring the quality of market data and trends and keeping Salesforce and the MI tool accurately updated (both qualitative and quantitative).
  • Drive commercial results by contributing to the unit's order intake and gross profit targets, while communicating market demands and developing marketing concepts, business plans, and portfolio launch strategies for Headquarters.
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure compliance, coordinating technical clarifications and win/loss analyses while adhering fully to QA procedures, statutory, regulatory, EHS requirements, and Siemens Compliance and Business Conduct Guidelines.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree (equivalent or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Proven sales and business development experience in power systems, grid automation, or digital grid technologies, with a demonstrable track record of consistently overachieving targets.
  • Deep familiarity with grid technologies and the Middle East market, including its customers, decision making processes, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV equipment and systems—including GIS/AIS, transformers, substations, and automation, control & protection—paired with a background supporting the integration of automation and digitalization systems.
  • Sharp commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills, enabling you to structure and close profitable deals in high stakes tendering situations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, combined with the resilience and agility to succeed in a fast paced, competitive tendering environment.
