A newly established Business School in Dubai is seeking a Head of Academic Quality and Institutional Effectiveness to establish and lead the School's institutional planning, accreditation, quality assurance, and performance management agenda.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and review of the School's institutional effectiveness and strategic planning framework.
- Translate institutional strategy into measurable objectives, KPIs, and performance management systems.
- Drive the School's accreditation roadmap across AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, ensuring ongoing readiness and compliance.
- Coordinate accreditation documentation, evidence management, governance structures, site visits, and follow up activities.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance frameworks covering programme review, learning assurance, academic assessment, and continuous improvement.
- Develop institutional research processes, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Analyse institutional data, including enrolment, retention, progression, graduation, and graduate outcomes, to support strategic decision making.
- Benchmark institutional performance against leading regional and international business schools and identify opportunities to strengthen academic quality and global reputation.
- Prepare evidence based reports for executive leadership, the Board, regulators, and accreditation bodies.
- Develop governance frameworks, quality policies, reporting standards, and cross functional committee structures that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of evidence based decision making across academic and administrative functions.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Higher Education, Business, Institutional Research, Educational Assessment, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in higher education quality assurance, institutional effectiveness, accreditation, strategic planning, or institutional research
- Demonstrated experience supporting AACSB, EQUIS, or AMBA accreditation
- Strong experience designing or managing institutional quality assurance, programme review, learning assurance, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Experience developing institutional KPIs, governance reporting, and performance management systems
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience managing institutional data, dashboards, and performance reporting
- Proven ability to lead complex cross functional initiatives involving senior academic and administrative stakeholders
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
- Professional fluency in English; Arabic would be an advantage

Role Overview
- As the Head of Academic Quality and Institutional Effectiveness, you will be responsible for building the frameworks, systems, and governance required to drive institutional excellence across the Business School.
- Working closely with executive leadership, you will lead the School's accreditation journey across AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, oversee institutional research and performance measurement, strengthen quality assurance processes, and ensure continuous improvement across academic and administrative function
- You will play a key role in translating institutional strategy into measurable outcomes while providing leadership with evidence based insights that support informed decision making and sustainable growth.

Must have
