About the Role

Responsibilities
- Implement approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls for the Security department
- Supervise day to day operations of the Security department to ensure compliance with established policies
- Supervise the incident investigation process and undertake investigations and reporting of Security incidents
- Plan, organize and conduct Security training courses to promote Security awareness
- Control and coordinate maintenance and testing of Security protection systems throughout the plant
- Develop and initiate routine evaluations of the workplace to identify non conformance and recommend solutions
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies
- Supervise activities and work of subordinates by providing formal and informal feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, or at least 10 years of relevant experience
- 4 6 years relevant experience in EHSFS in a similar manufacturing industry including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Preferably bilingual (Arabic and English)
- Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)
- Knowledgeable in ISPS Code
- Knowledgeable in Physical Information Security
- Knowledgeable in Electronic Security Access Control System, CCTV Security System, burglar alarm system, intrusion detection system & fire system
- Experience in administering a department preferably working with a multi national team
- Proficiency in SAP applications
- Proficiency in computer

Job Purpose
- Monitor and assist in the effective implementation of EGA’s corporate Security control/protection strategic plans, policies and programs across assigned plant operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Implements approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls for the Security department.
- Supervises the implementation of day to day operations for the Security department.
- Supervises the incident investigation process and undertakes investigations and reporting of Security incidents.

- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/equivalent or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably an accreditation or membership to a recognised association.
- 4 6 years relevant experience in EHSFS in a similar manufacturing industry including at least 2 years in managerial roles.
- Preferably bilingual (Arabic and English).
- Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO).
- Knowledgeable in ISPS Code, Physical Information Security, Electronic Security Access Control System, CCTV, burglar alarm, intrusion detection & fire systems.
- Experience in administering a department with a multi national team.
