About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute daily functions of arrival and departure for guests
- Perform registration process by obtaining guest data
- Handle cash and credit processing, including Gift Card redemption
- Resolve guest complaints or follow up with manager
- Review room queue and work with Housekeeping to expedite turnover
- Drive loyalty program and upselling program
- Ensure strict control of room keys and enforce key handling procedures
- Take and deliver accurate and timely guest messages
Requirements
- Passion for guest service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language
- Minimum 1 year previous hotel experience preferred
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management preferred
- Knowledge of Property Management System such as Opera preferred
- Computer proficiency in Windows environment

Job Description
- Execute daily functions of arrival and departure for guests.
- Adhere to and execute all job task checklist points.
- Perform registration process by obtaining data from guest.
- Review Group Resumes, VIP reports, daily business reports.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Comply with Accor standards and regulations.
- Cash handling and credit processing, including Gift Card redemption.
- Support Concierge or Telephone Operator as required.
- Resolve guest complaints or follow up with manager.
- Review room queue and work with Housekeeping to expedite turnover.
- Handle Due Out and Discrepancy updating with Housekeeping.
- Post charges for late check outs.
Qualifications
- Passion for guest service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Highly organized, results oriented, flexible, able to work under pressure.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
- Minimum 1 year previous hotel experience is an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests.
- Knowledge of Property Management System such as Opera is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize.
- Experience with hotel loyalty program an asset.
- Computer proficiency in Windows environment.
