Position Overview
- This position delivers the dining experience by providing information to help food and beverage selection, presenting ordered choices ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Answer questions regarding the menu and make suggestions for food choices.
- Upsell drinks before meals, side orders, and suggest non alcoholic or alcoholic beverages including wine.
- Relay food orders to the kitchen and serve courses within sequence.
- Conduct all restaurant opening and closing procedures according to pre set SOPs.
- Utilize correct serving techniques for all types of food and beverages.
- Deal with guest complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Service tables ensuring a clean and presentable environment.
- Keep condiment stands fully stocked and replenished.
- Clean regularly equipment, machinery, and dispensers.
- Sweep/mop floors as required.
- Collect stock from Warehouse and deliver to outlet.
Requirements
- Understand and adhere to all company standards, mission statements, values, and SOPs.
- Display open body posture, helpful and cheerful attitude.
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Comply with company grooming standards and dress codes.
- Represent and promote Miral Experiences in a positive manner.
- Enforce and adhere to UAE laws, Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively.
- Adhere to all emergency procedures and participate in drills.
- Be fully aware of all products sold in F&B Outlets.
- Attend and pass all legally required food safety courses (e.g., EFST).
- Uphold integrity in wristbands handling, cash handling, and POS procedures.
- Participate fully in all training and continual assessment projects.
Additional Duties
- Manage lost & found items adhering to company policy.
- Operate cash register (POS System) in accordance with SOPs.
- Keep register area neat and stocked.
- Be responsible for cash float and ensure it balances correctly.
- Remit daily sales to cash control.
- Adhere to company's overage & shortage policy.
- Use machinery, equipment, or dangerous substances in accordance with training.
- Assist in other areas of the outlet such as cleaning up, shelf stocking, or keeping items displayed orderly.
- Perform any additional tasks/duties assigned by management.
