About the Role
ABB is looking for a Field Service Engineer to execute service work on electrification products, including MV switchgear and LV systems. You will perform on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance, ensuring quality and safety.

Responsibilities
- Working with the customer (while on site) to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points.
- Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on site activity.
- Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring availability and quality.
- Troubleshooting equipment/process failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Receiving project documentation and technical information for commissioning.
- Filling in Site report and agreeing actions with Service Manager.
- Accomplishing preliminary activities like permissions, gate pass, power on/shutdown permits, and documentation check.
- Verifying correctness of hardware connections and installed cables/wiring.
- Properly installing and verifying correct functionality of all installed devices per FAT results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5 7+ years of experience in the specific field of application
- Enhanced knowledge of LV (MCC/PCC) & MV (AIS/GIS/RMU) Switchgear and Products
- Knowledge of the most common testing tools (hardware and computerized)
- Knowledge of Safe working procedures at site
- Attitude to interpersonal relationships
- Good relation skill, Team working, Problem solving
- Ease communicating in English (verbal and written)
