About the Role
ADCB is seeking an Executive Manager to lead financial crime strategy development and implementation. The role requires at least 8 years of AML/CFT experience and deep knowledge of CBUAE and FATF regulations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the implementation of ADCB’s financial crime strategy
- Design the scope of thematic reviews that identify current issues or emerging risk
- Analyse serious regulatory breaches and financial crime risk episodes
- Identify high risk customers and design advanced stringent checks
- Identify new typologies and monitor evolving risk globally
- Design the strategy and scope of Correspondent Banking Relationship review from AML/CFT perspective
- Develop controls for new initiatives to drive Financial Crime prevention strategy
- Collaborate with key stakeholders for continuous improvement
- Conduct typology research and report on current methods and trends
- Define financial crime strategy based on CBUAE/MENA FATF requirements
- Monitor updates issued by CBUAE/MENA FATF and recommend changes
- Report serious regulatory breaches to Internal Stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in an AML and CFT function
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Knowledge of International Banking best practices
- Knowledge of CBUAE AML regulations
- Proven experience developing and implementing Financial Crime Compliance strategies
- Strong experience conducting thematic reviews
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Private Banking, Trade Finance, and Correspondent Banking financial crime risks
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and maintaining ABC policies, standards and governance frameworks
- Research and data analytics skills
- Report writing skills
- Relationship management skills

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in an AML and CFT function.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (mandatory).
- Knowledge of International Banking best practices.
- Knowledge of CBUAE AML regulations.
- Proven experience developing and implementing Financial Crime Compliance strategies.
- Strong experience conducting thematic reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Private Banking, Trade Finance, and Correspondent Banking financial crime risks.
