The Opportunity
A leading private developer in Saudi Arabia is delivering an exceptional portfolio of large-scale, high-profile hospitality developments across the Kingdom.
As the organisation continues to expand its delivery capability, they are seeking to appoint an accomplished
Executive Director – Delivery
to lead the execution of complex, landmark hospitality projects.
This is a pivotal leadership role positioned at the heart of the organisation’s delivery function, overseeing end-to-end project execution across multiple assets — from mobilisation through to final handover — ensuring world-class standards across programme, quality, commercial performance, and operational excellence.
The Role
The Executive Director – Delivery will take full ownership of major hospitality developments, driving successful execution across fast-track and high-specification projects while managing leading contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong contracting background, with proven leadership experience delivering large-scale projects within major main contracting firms in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful d
- elivery of multiple large-scale hospitality developments from construction through to completion and handover
- Oversee main contractors, ensuring performance across programme, cost, quality, and HSE standards
- Drive project execution strategies, sequencing plans, and risk mitigation initiatives
- Ensure seamless coordination between design, procurement, and construction functions
- Provide leadership and direction to internal delivery teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Act as the senior interface with contractors, consultants, operators, and key stakeholders
- Proactively resolve complex delivery and construction challenges within demanding project environments
- Ensure projects are executed in line with international hospitality standards and operator requirements
- Support commercial and contractual decision-making in collaboration with commercial teams
Candidate Profile Mandatory Requirements
- Currently operating in a senior leadership role within a major main contracting firm (Project Director, Operations Director, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, complex developments within Saudi Arabia
- Strong contracting-side experience is essential (client-side profiles will not be considered)
- Proven expertise managing the full construction lifecycle on major projects
Highly Preferred
- Direct hospitality project experience including luxury hotels, resorts, hospitality developments
- Exposure to complex, high-specification projects with international hospitality operators
- Experience working on giga-projects or major private developments within the Kingdom
Key Competencies
- Exceptional delivery leadership and contractor management capability
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project execution
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
- Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills
