Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the café and bakery.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop the front of house team.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Manage staff scheduling, labour costs, and daily operational efficiency.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Control inventory, stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Manage food and beverage costs while minimizing wastage.
  • Work closely with the Head Baker and Kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and local food safety regulations.
  • Support seasonal menu launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives to grow the business.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Store Manager.
  • Previous experience in an artisan café, specialty coffee shop, premium bakery, or upscale casual dining concept is essential.
  • Strong understanding of specialty coffee, artisan bakery products, and café operations.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, P&L, inventory, and cost control.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced hospitality environment.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • GCC experience is preferred but not essential.
